With active subject photography, there’s one very important factor… You must understand or know the subject/event well enough to predict movement. You have a starting point and an end point in movement and therefore the photographer must know enough to predict the end point and take the best photograph during the trajectory.

This is why I’ll never be a sports photographer. :-)
